• Account and contact details: name, business name, role, email address, phone number, and business and shipping addresses.
• Licensing and tax records: EIN/tax ID, state and local tobacco licenses and permits, resale certificates (such as North Carolina Form E-595E), and documents you upload with your wholesale application.
• Order and account history: products ordered, invoices, payments, credits, and related correspondence.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment processor, Authorize.net, and our website does not store full card numbers. For ACH, wire, or Zelle payments, we keep the bank details needed to process and reconcile them. If you choose to provide a card authorization form, we use it only to process the charges you authorize and restrict access to it.
• Communications: emails, calls, and text or WhatsApp messages exchanged with our team.
• Website data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use Plausible Analytics, which measures site traffic in aggregate without advertising cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in and your cart working, and your browser remembers your 21+ age confirmation for 30 days.

3. How We Use Information

• Verifying your business eligibility and licenses, and opening and managing your account.
• Processing, shipping, and delivering orders, and collecting payments.
• Calculating, reporting, and paying tobacco products and sales taxes, and meeting other legal and regulatory obligations.
• Providing customer service and preventing fraud.
• Sending product and promotional updates when you have opted in.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

• Service providers that work on our behalf, including our business software and website host (Odoo), our payment processor (Authorize.net), shipping carriers and freight companies, email, text, and WhatsApp messaging providers, and our accountants and professional advisors.
• Our affiliate, BFG Distribution Inc., which provides staffing and operational support to Big Distro.
• Government agencies as required by law, including tobacco products and sales tax returns and customer schedules filed with the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee revenue departments, and federal PACT Act reports for smokeless tobacco shipped across state lines, which list the recipient business name and address, brand, and quantity. We also respond to lawful requests from regulators and law enforcement.
• Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Text and WhatsApp Messages

If you opt in, we may send order updates and promotional messages by text or WhatsApp. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We do not share your mobile opt-in consent or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep account, order, licensing, and tax records while your account is active and afterward for as long as tax and tobacco record-keeping laws require. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections, and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
